The Guerrilla Girls BroadBand is committed to bringing awareness to dead women artists, writers, architects, activists, and other cultural influencers from across the globe. These women were overlooked, discarded, silenced, or ignored in their communities, areas of study, by their peers, in history, or were just denied pursuing a professional career because of their sex. GGBB members posthumously assume their identity with a gorilla mask in the hopes of bringing their brilliance and work into the public eye and correcting the systems that more or less denied them the proper attention and accolades they deserved. Please take a moment to explore these women (our members) who have made great, but relatively unknown, contributions to the arts and society.
